Parent-Teacher Conferences

As you may have heard, we are having limited conferences this year. Some of you have already been contacted to set up an appointment. We are offering our remaining times to others who would like to meet with me. I regret to say that we only have enough time allocated to meet with fifty to sixty percent of our families, but I will do the best I can. My limited conference schedule will be Monday, April 4 and Tuesday, April 5 from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. If you are hoping to meet with me let me know so I can try to schedule it. Feel free to e-mail me to request one of our appointments. I will offer the appointments on a first come first served basis.

100th Day!

We will Celebrate our 100th Day of first grade on February 9th!

Upcoming Thanksgiving Pageant and Feast

FIRST THANSGIVING TRIBUTE-All first grade classes will honor this event of 1621 on Monday, November 22nd at 10:15, with a first grade feast and pageant. We will be dressing up for the occasion as a boy or girl Native American or a boy or girl pilgrim.
We are working on our songs, vests, headbands, collars, hats, bonnets, pattern neckalaces, placemats, table centerpieces,and Native American names. We are writing about what we are thankful for and what the true meaning of Thanksgiving is.

October Book Order

Our October Book Order is due Wednesday, October 20th. If you plan to order, you may use the web site on this blog to order under Scholastic or you can just send it into the classroom to me to order for you.
